Green Leaf Tester - Auntie Dolores 200mg Cheese Biscuits

Green Leaf Mommy reviews: Auntie Dolores 200 mg Cheese Biscuits

Auntie Dolores, founded in 2008 in San Francisco, is a well known medical cannabis innovator. They pride themselves on the fact that they pack in nothing but superfood ingredients and whole-plant extracted cannabinoids, specifically designed for the diet-restricted consumer. They offer both THC and CBD infused options ranging from popcorn to brownie bites. We decided to try the sugar and gluten free cheese biscuits.

The Auntie Dolores site is made to easily browse options as well as provide informative information to their consumers. A quick membership request, which is free of charge, and you are in. It was a difficult decision to chose just one item since they all look great, but we decided to give the gluten free cheese biscuits a shot. Per their website, the cheese crackers are made of cannabis oil, sharp cheddar, organic brown rice flour, butter, organic potato starch, eggs, water, rice vinegar, smoked sea salt, baking powder, black pepper, paprika, xanthan gum, yellow mustard powder, annatto, and cayenne pepper. With 20 doses per container, and just 150 calories per serving the crackers seemed like a nice pick.

The cheese biscuits are $16 per container, which is a great price for such a high quality product. We placed our Green Leaf Mommy order and the crackers were delivered in just a few short days right to our door. The packaging is simple and pretty, and even more important, is reusable and recyclable. They even included an adorable doily sticker with their logo. Inside the cardboard canister is a resealable plastic bag filled with little orange crackers.

For some reason I was expecting a "Cheetos" type of cracker, but that is not what Auntie Dolores does. These handcrafted, gluten free, gourmet crackers are more of an artisan type of snack. They even smell like fresh baked rye bread. The crackers are a little dry, like most gluten free snacks are, but not too bad. I only had three, but if I had some brie or dip on hand I could have easily eaten the entire package.

The high isn't overpowering. I suppose if I had eaten more than just a few I would be singing a different tune. These are a perfect treat for those treating small ailments with medical cannabis, or for the recreational user looking for a small head change. If you are a fan of, or even looking for a vegan, gluten free, and/or sugar free snack option these are for you. We even used these crackers as a topping for our infused mac'n'cheese, and it tasted AMAZING!

Our Final Opinion...

Auntie Dolores Cheese Biscuits are a healthy alternative to the cannabis edible market. While a little dry, the crackers are fresh and flavorful. The THC content isn't too strong so you can enjoy these as a snack without the fear of over using. We will be ordering again soon!
